Translations services (Russian and German languages)

Range of covered topics is virtually unlimited, with very few possible exceptions. However, our major strengths are translations of documentations related to processes and/or equipment manuals (such as textbooks, specifications, instructions, certificates, etc.), and software internationalization.

Scope of services offered includes translation of contracts and business correspondences. Apart from written translation we carry out oral sequential translation (assistance at negotiations, meetings, conferences, exhibitions, etc.), including participation in business trips.

We practice three-stage quality control. This means that each written translation is typically proofread twice: first by a technical proofreader and then by an expert in a field of science or technology in question. It should be emphasized that, apart from linguistic skills, most of our translators have scientific and/or engineering background themselves. This is particularly essential for translation of above-mentioned kind of documents. Furthermore, we periodically assign our translators to cross-check translations made by their associates.

We maintain extensive database of terms and definitions used in GOSTs (Russian National Standards) covering various fields of science and industry. Whenever a new topic arises, we immediately obtain applicable GOSTs in order to translate in accordance with it and be able to provide needed reference to our customers.

We work in MS WORD; however, translations in other programs (such as, e.g., PageMaker, FrameMaker, FrontPage, Excel, and AutoCAD) are available as well.
